On August 20, 2018, my friends from the Lingayen and Bayambang dormitories and I visited several landmarks in Pangasinan. Our first stop was the Provincial Government of Pangasinan, where we had the honor of meeting the Vice Governor.
The office building was impressive, with a very nice and modern architectural style.
While we were there, I met someone who caught my attention—a very handsome Filipino guy! I really loved his smile; he seemed like such a lovable person. I even managed to capture some photos and videos of him for my Instagram stories. Although some of my friends took pictures with him, I was way too shy to ask! Haha. I hope I can see you again, Kuya Bryan. (For those wondering, "Kuya" is the Tagalog equivalent of "Abang" in Bahasa Indonesia).
Next, we visited Princess Urduja’s Palace to learn more about her history. We even went on a room tour of the residence. Afterward, we headed to Lingayen Poblacion to explore the building. While we were there, we happened to catch an event being held by senior high school students.
By then, we were starving since we hadn't eaten breakfast yet, so we stopped for lunch at Mang Inasal. After a satisfying meal, we visited the PSU Main Campus for a campus tour and met the Head of International Student Affairs. Our final stop was the PSU Bayambang Campus, located near our dormitory. We met several professors, lecturers, and our personal guides, whom we fondly call our "buddies." We also had the chance to meet faculty members specializing in different education levels, from elementary to high school. After a long and productive day, we finally returned to the dormitory to rest.
